See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Program intended for grandchildren from 12 - 16 years of age.

Historic lighthouses, wave-battered shipwrecks, emerald green rainforests and the oldest town on the West Coast will be your inspiration and a local photographer will be your director as you and a grandchild explore the rugged Oregon Coast and lower Columbia River. Daily lessons and engaging hands-on workshops in digital photography get you ready to capture incredible images of stunning sunsets and breathtaking sunrises, while friendly critiques encourage you to grow.

• Visit historic locations like Lewis's and Clark’s winter encampment at Fort Clatsop, Cape Disappointment Lighthouse at the mouth of the Columbia River and Astoria, the oldest town west of the Mississippi.
• In the classroom and in the field, your photography instructor provides lessons on digital photography fundamentals and advanced techniques.
• Field excursions place you and your grandchild in locations of incredible natural beauty at the best time of day to make memorable images.
