At a Glance

Live aboard the 101-foot schooner Adventuress—a National Historic Landmark and Puget Sound treasure constructed in 1913—as you take the helm, raise the sails, and absorb the history and traditions of tall ships. Sail through the San Juan Islands by day and anchor at a different harbor each night.
Activity Level
Outdoor: Spirited
Participants raise sails, prepare meals, and keep vessel shipshape. Must be able to climb eight steps up and down a ladder, climb into bunks, and maneuver in small spaces. Beginning sailors welcome.
