Explore old-growth forest, look for otters, osprey and Bald Eagles and experience one of the remaining largely untouched corners of America. Nights are spent camping on beautiful beaches, while days are spent on the river, floating calm stretches and mostly class III rapids.

  • Challenge the river as part of a paddle raft crew or in an inflatable kayak, and receive expert instruction on river safety, water dynamics and rafting techniques.
  • Take optional hikes to discover regional history — from gold mining remnants to author Zane Grey’s cabin.
  • Enjoy excellent wildlife viewing. River otter, salmon, bald eagles and more may be seen.

General Notes

Participants provide their own sleeping bag, sleeping mat and tent. Rentals available for additional $80.
