Canoe or kayak the dark waters of the Suwannee River and the clear, spring-fed waters of the Ichetucknee on this educational expedition. Hike two miles to discover Florida’s only Class 3 white water rapids at Big Shoals State Park. Explore the nature of Florida’s karst topography while hiking to The Blue Hole at Ichetucknee Springs. Discover regional folk life as local residents share their food, music, dance and stories and welcome you into their community. Enjoy woodland picnics and study the pine and palmetto forests and healing springs that have all left their mark on this region.

This time of year the weather is unpredictable, be ready for hot, cold, wet or dry. Items such as sunscreen or insect spray are sometimes useful. In the event of high water alternative paddle trips will be provided.
