7:15 - 8:00 AM in an Assigned Room, prepare yourself for a day of skiing and join the group morning stretch class, based on Yoga and taught by a certified instructor. Take a ride on the free Shuttle Van, at the Zermatt Resort, to & from Park City Mountain Resort. Around 9:00 AM, lifts open to begin exploring 3,300 acres containing over 100 ski runs of which half of them are groomed beautifully for your skiing pleasure. At 10:00 AM, choose to follow a guided Mountain Host from Park City Mountain Resort on a two-hour mountain exploration and learn how to navigate the mountains and ski lifts and find out where the best spots to ski are located.
Enjoy Lunch on your own on the mountain.
Enjoy the afternoon and choose to follow a guided Mountain Host and historian on a two-hour mountain mining history excursion from 1:30 - 3:30 PM. Learn the fascinating history or Park City Mountain Resort from the boom days of silver mining to Park City Mountain Resort hosting the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Then continue skiing until the lifts close at 4:00 PM. Take the Free Shuttle Van back home.
Before traveling to Salt Lake City for our finale, enjoy socializing with your fellow Road Scholar skiers during "Happy Hour." Receive Passport Stickers and say our goodbyes as some participants need to catch flights before breakfast the following morning. Travel to Salt Lake City for dinner at local restaurant and listen and experience the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Rehearsal.
Enjoy our program finale following dinner and experience a performance from local talent, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. This 360-member chorus of men and women, all volunteers, has performed at World’s Fairs and expositions, at inaugurations of U.S. presidents, in acclaimed concert halls from Australia and Europe to Asia and the Middle East, on television broadcasts, and now on YouTube and Facebook. The choir has even been referred to as "America's Choir," as a result of their high standard of popular choral music. For more than a century, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir has given voice to the hopes, joys, trials, and triumphs of people around the world. The Choir has become an international musical sensation. In 1929, the Choir began broadcasting Music & The Spoken Word on radio. Now the program—carried on over 2,000 radio and television stations and with over 4,500 episodes—is the world’s longest continuing network broadcast. After the rehearsal, return home.
