Great balance between lessons and golf. We had lessons in the morning and then played 9 holes at different beautiful courses in the afternoon. Loved the field trip to Zion National Park on day four and then the 18 holes at a gorgeous golf course on the last day!

The unique beauty of the Red Rock area and Zion National Park was well worth the trip! The golf education/courses and the trip to Zion were fantastic! I highly recommend this trip! I do recommend you bring your own golf clubs if at all possible to get the most out of the golf experience. This is a great way to make new friends!

This program is definitely worth the tuition! The instruction was very good and the field trip to Zion National Park was very interesting. Southern Utah was a great place to visit and further my golf education.

The Best Golf of Your Life: Four Courses in Red Rock Country
I thoroughly enjoyed my trip. Our coordinator, Paul, was outstanding. I'm new to golf; we were divided into groups for instruction depending on our ability. It worked out very well, and I learned a lot. The golfing was fun, and everyone was very friendly. I would do it again.

I just returned from this trip. This was my eleventh Road Scholar trip. First the food was exceptional. Not a bad meal. Box lunches were excellent too. You won’t be hungry! Paul pour driver/leader was excellent. He fostered great group dynamics. On the golf course he mixed up the groups each day so you got to meet everyone in the group. The golf instruction was perfect. I have attended several golf schools and found to be given too much information to process. The. Small tips and pointers given was just right so as not to totally paralyze you with too much to think about. The golf courses were in beautiful locations. The pace of play with our group was great. We barely ever waited on the group in front. The trip to Zion was a highlight. The views and the hike was excellent. I might just do this trip again!!

This was my first RS trip and the bar for future trips has been set high, as the experience exceeded my expectations! The group was composed of interesting travellers from all walks of life. We all made new friends and shared happy memories. The golf was well organized, with helpful instruction and we played beautiful courses. Recommend for all levels of recreational golfers.
Our leader Paul was proficient, personable & accommodating, who kept us in line with a sense of humor.
The learning experience and trip to Zion with geologist Phil was outstanding. His enthusiasm & expertise of the area and geology is infectious. He made the trip all the more fun, interesting and meaningful.
Both Paul & Phil were happy to share their knowledge and answer our many questions. They were a pleasure to be with and made a great team.
If you love golf & the outdoor marvels of the Southwest, you’ll love this trip!

My husband and I had our first experience with Road Scholar recently in St George, Utah, attending their golf program. Our time was well organized, we met folks around the United States and made new friends. We look forward to more travels with them. Thank you...

If you are not a better than average golfer this is not for you. Better golfers got better coaching. I liked the program as it had me playing with people that play every day. I play once a month in good weather. They should have a group for infrequent players. I can hit the ball 100 yard but straight. This is not a good use of time for teaching me. I need one to one and that ie what I learned. However, I enjoyed the people, the area, the golf courses, the weather (mostly, not the hurricane in Hurricane Last day), Our tour guide, Paul and our room at the hotel.

I found the program fun and relaxed. It is very suitable for the average weekend golfer with average handicaps.

The Golf instruction / playing along with the difficulty of the courses were in an excellent ratio. The instruction was above excellent. This was a really fun and challenging course.

No matter what you skill level in golf, you can always learn more. The instructors and the courses were all great. Good golf get away. You owe it to yourself to see Zion National Park, as well.

Had the best time at the Four Courses in Red Rock Country 4/2023. Weather was perfect, golf instruction great and geared toward different levels of players and what fun experiencing Zion and the other beautiful course sites St George has to offer. Great group of participants!

This was the perfect vacation for me! Golf instruction, golf in a beautiful location and hiking. I loved the level of activity and the great group of folks assisting with the week, and joining in on the week!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Road Scholar. The golf instruction was extremely good and the 3 courses we played on were magnificent. No better way to meet nice people and improve golfing skills!

This was a great trip and our leader Paul was wonderful! There is one major caution, the lodging at the Holiday Inn was terrible. They may be struggling with post Covid staffing, but I cannot recommend this trip in St. George unless they use a different hotel. I would suggest the Sedona, Arizona trip as an alternative. It’s a very similar trip and the lodging was excellent.

This was my first Road Scholar trip and I enjoyed getting out again after two years of covid lockdown. The program was well organized and moved along nicely. The golf instructors were all top notch and made good suggestions for future play. I could have used at least a half-day mid-week for some downtime. The golf courses in St. George were varied and beautiful.

All golfers will find value in the instructions and appreciate the beautiful courses. Outstanding golf and national park experience. A lot packed into the days but felt great.
— Review left November 14, 2021
The golf instruction was adaptable to all levels of play. The courses were scenic and somewhat challenging. The geological information was just right for the non-expert, and the guide added to the enjoyment and appreciation of the hike. The group size (24) was small enough to have a chance to meet and chat with everyone. The schedule for about 6 hours of activity a day was just right.

Fantastic golf in breathtaking settings. Geologist-led day-trip to Zion National Park was remarkably informative and an experience of endless natural beauty.

My second time around doing this golfing adventure was just as much fun as the first time! The scenery and golf courses around St. George are beautiful. I definitely picked up some helpful golfing tips, too. In fact, I even got my first hole-in-one since I have been home!! The different restaurants we visited were quite good. Our accommodations were very adequate. I once again enjoyed Paul, our tour guide, for his subtle humor. You gotta do this one! It's fun!

I would classify myself as a rather mediocre golfer who occasionally has good shots. At the end of this program, I would classify myself as a "much improved" golfer who had more good shots than bad ones. This is a great program for anyone who wants to improve their game, make some friends, and play some absolutely gorgeous golf courses. Lessons were excellent, pinpointed my weak points and helped me turn them into strong points. It was tremendous fun playing with others in the group and helped my confidence on the course. I was surprised to see that some people had done this same program as many as 5 times. I will take this program again sometime in the future..... it was that much fun.

Great opportunity for beginning up to good golfers to improve their skills, enjoy some new courses in a beautiful area of the country you probably have yet to see,and to get away from winter weather while making some new friends

This program provides a great way to get re-energized about your golf game as a new season comes into view. Golf instruction was professional and suitable for all levels, the time on the courses was fun, and the surroundings spectacular. The field trips were worthwhile even though we were in the middle of a rain storm in Zion. But, we did see amazing waterfalls!
