Discover the beauty and grandeur of the Rocky Mountains with your family as you go adventuring through its marvelous land formations on foot, alpine slide, alpine coaster, zipline and hot-air balloon. Gain an intimate knowledge of the region where erosion and fault activity have exposed the most valuable silver lode pocket in America. Watch Olympic athletes train and get a VIP look behind-the-scenes of Utah Olympic Park. Celebrate and experience America's Freedom with a home-town parade, concert and huge fireworks show at the World-Famous Stadium of Fire.
Activity Level
Outdoor: Spirited
Hiking 2-4 miles. Rafting is a mild float trip on Provo River. Must be in good physical condition and able to participate in activities on uneven, rugged or steep terrain. Elevations of 6,000-10,000 feet. Ballooning is safe and lightly moving with the wind above the Scenic Valley of Park City. The home town concert and firework show can be loud; ear plugs provided for those who would like them.

General Notes

This is a Family program for participants, their adult children and grandchildren ages 6 and up. This program includes July 4th Freedom Festival activities such as a home-town parade, and a fireworks display and concert at the world-famous "Stadium of Fire".

As a state of Utah historian, her distinguished career of leading and educating groups throughout Utah and the western United States for the past 20 years, has propelled her to the role as chairman of the board for a prominent Utah travel organization. She has played key roles in Utah Travel Council's campaigns, and hosted the International Media during the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City.
