After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Meet the group at Reykjavík Natura in Reykjavik
Start of Trip: 10:00 a.m. at Park Inn by Radisson.
Getting to the site: Our program begins at the Park Inn by Radisson. A transfer will be provided for those who have purchased their air through Road Scholar and arrive on day 2. A Road Scholar representative will meet you outside the Arrivals hall and escort you to the coach waiting for the group at the airport. If you arranged your own air you have a few options: Take the Flybus to Keflavik airport. Make a reservation for Flybus prior to your arrival in Iceland (https://www.re.is/tour/flybus/). This will cost approx. 3900 ISK per person for the Flybus.. Alternatively, you may take a taxi from the airport to Reykjavik. It costs approximately 2500 – 3000 ISK ($17 - $22). The ride takes approximately 50 minutes.
Getting to the site by train or bus: Use the Flybus at the airport to travel to your destination.
Your trip ends on: Wednesday, September 30, 2026 in Reykjavik at Center Hotel Plaza
End of Trip: 10:00 a.m. after breakfast; 11:00 a.m. hotel check-out. Transfers throughout the day according to flight times
Getting to the airport: If you have booked your flights independently or plan to extend your stay in Reykjavik, you have a couple options: Take the Flybus to Keflavik airport. Make a reservation for Flybus at the hotel reception desk the day before your departure. Plan to take a taxi from the hotel to the BSI bus terminal approximately 45 minutes prior to your chosen Flybus departure time. There are departures operating every 90 minutes. This will cost approx. 3900 ISK per person for the Flybus and from 2100 ISK for the taxi (1-4 passengers). Alternatively, you may take a taxi from the hotel to the airport. It costs approximately 20,000 ISK for up to 4 people
Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
