After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.
When we visit our non-profit community partners as part of a Road Scholar program, all participants generally are required to sign waivers of liability. These waivers can be found in your online account and must be returned to Pacific Islands Institute prior to the program's commencement. Please send the completed waivers by email to info@pac-island.com , by mail to 1144 10th Avenue, Suite 301, Honolulu, HI 96816, or by fax to 808-732-9555.
United States citizens don’t need a visa for any of the countries you’ll be visiting. Non-U.S. citizens should refer to their country's requirements to ensure they have the necessary documentation for travel.
If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

AMPCO Express is the managing contractor of the Airport's Open Taxi System at Honolulu International Airport. The state established this Airport Open Taxi Management system for taxi drivers from all taxi companies to be able to pick-up at the airport. Taxi Service is available on the center median fronting the terminal baggage claim areas. See the taxi dispatchers (green shirts with black lettering, and the wording “TAXI DISPATCHER”) for service.
