So glad I was able to take in this lecture before our trip to Albuquerque and Santa Fe! It was great to have this background before seeing the petroglyphs at Petroglyph National Monument. Because of this lecture, we made time to visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center during our short visit.

This lecture was a great introduction to the indigenous people's 'settlements' in the Southwest. I enjoyed learning more about the ceremonial significance of parts of the pueblos and the history of the settlements.

This is a broad general talk about the pueblos of New Mexico. Mainly it covers the history, the cultures and languages. The speaker has a great understanding of the people in modern times also.
