As half of the world's population, we know women had major roles in all the significant events of human history, but seldom are women mentioned in textbooks. This presentation reveals women's part in fomenting unrest and" womanning" ( not manning) the barricades in the Paris streets. A fascinating and largely unknown bit of history. Caroline is an excellent lecturer!

Like a woven tapestry of many colors both brilliant and torn/worn, Ms. Buizza provides a multi view picture of the economical, political, monarchical, cultural, mental, emotional conditions of the Era of the French Revolution, and how it unfolded, and who were some of the most significant personages who played major roles in those troubling times of the Revolution. Ms. Buizza explains beautifully all of the components: the before, the during, and the after, and the thereafter. All so interesting.
