Like most Americans, I assumed Bastille Day was France's independence holiday. This lecture gives you the real and more complicated story by a fascinating and very engaging lecturer who explains it all with colorful slides and in-depth presentation.

Thank you Nettah for one of the most comprehensive lectures I have ever attended. The hour and a half lecture online, was the equivalent of at least two semesters worth of French history during the Revolution. I learned so much

This lecture on the history of the National holiday of France was so interesting and informative. The presenter wove together the pieces of the story of the French Revolution and provided such useful context in a way that made that whole turbulent period make sense. Bravo

Spencer Jones has long been my favorite Road Scholar speaker. Nonetheless, today Yetti was a close runner-up! Thanks, Road Scholar, for "knowing how to "pick'em." The best of the best!

This was my first Road Scholar online lecture experience. It was very informative and included new, interesting information on a topic - the French Revolution - that I have read about over the years. The lecturer was informed and delivered his talk with enthusiasm. 90 minutes that did not drag and definitely time well spent for this new retiree!
