Understanding historically significant stories necessarily includes accepting the likelihood of multiple perspectives. So be encouraged. Go, join a group of similarly interested and curious friends you have not yet met, adn visit where it happened. Discover how, where your understanding stands, may grow, when you learn the perspective of where others sit. And where current reality intersects with history. What great fun.

The trip is an adventure with a close look at the history of slavery. You will see the local life of today including the good and bad. Getting into small boats was not a problem as there is plenty of assistance, it was not a problem. The accommodation on the ship was great.

If you are looking for an immersive experience in a very remote part of the world, which will leave you thinking about it long afterwards, this is the trip. A great mixture of cultural, nature and historical experiences.
