I learned much more than I thought I would. He conceptualized exercise in a different way, a way that is parallel to how to keep brain function.
And, it answers the age old question: why is it that walking a dog is not enough exercise?

Good advice for staying fit as we age. Presented helpful exercises with cautionary guidance regarding potential problems.

I have years of experience with fitness programs of all kinds and this not only summarized much of the useful advice I’ve gotten over the years but gave me some new guiding principles. I wish I could share this program with friends and relatives. A sequel would be nice, in which he is more specific about helpful forms of movement.

David Wilson was a great speaker who taught me a lot about how to move and exercise. I believed no pain, no gain but he has a totally different approach. He showed us how to work on balance and strengthening in a way that will make me work out very differently.Let's get him to run a retreat for Road Scholar! I think we would all sign up for that trip!

I appreciated the resources and the Q&A session at the end. I especially like the idea of "moving today in a way that makes you eager & able to move again tomorrow"

Great session on how to increase strength, whether you are currently moving and working out, or wanting to get started. David is very knowledgeable and had lots of terrific ideas on how to keep moving or how to develop a plan to get moving more than you currently are doing. And how to push yourself to do things that you typically would not think of doing.
