The 5-part lecture series, In Search of Odysseus, brought us back in time to Homer’s world. We learned how the challenges of the Odyssey reflected the values and customs of that time. We learned about the geography of the voyage and how modern-day scholars have attempted to retrace its path. We learned about Odysseus’ character and how the struggles of the journey impacted and influenced his character. I t was a very interesting series!!!

Very insightful look at Ancient Greece through the purported influence of Odysseus. I look forward to the rest of the presentations in the Odysseus series!
