I learned so much about Morocco’s rich history, vibrant culture, and the ways climate change is impacting the country. The Moroccan people were incredibly warm and welcoming, and I developed a deep respect for them and their traditions. Although this was my first time visiting any part of Africa, I was pleasantly surprised—and genuinely delighted—by the experience. I’m already eager to return to Morocco and explore other regions of the continent. If you'd like to get a taste of the trip, my blog will provide a view of what you may experience. https://marcnobletrips.blog/africa/marrakech-essaouira-a-look-at-local-life-in-morocco/

This program was true to the mission and methods established by Marty Knowlton at the start of Elderhostel. Nabil the team leader, and Malika, the administrative support were superb in all aspects. Our group was cohesive and friendly. Experiences and accommodations were appropriate and all but one of the presentations was superb. Hamza's presentation on the women's cooperatives was viewed skeptically by many participants.
