Wonderful lecture. Will have a Whale watching and study on trip to Nova Scotia in August. This was nice info to have in advance.

This was the best Road Scholar online program yet. Informative, engaging, exciting and fun. I wish I could share it with many family & friends and hope it is offered again.

Whales what a fascinating subject. The information (discussion and pictures) clearly communicated the information about the species, feeding habits and migratory routes. I loved her description of conservation being a triangle with education, science and research being required for conservation. I learned that most of the large whales migrate between the tropics and to either one of the poles. Migration occurs for feeding and environmental reasons.

Amanda Hunter is a terrific speaker -- engaging, well organized, clear, with great visuals, and clearly passionate about her work and about whales. Much information, beautifully presented at just the right pace for this non-scientist participant. This was time well spent.

This was my first online lecture from RS, and I enjoyed it a lot! I'm very interested in whales, having participated in many whale-watching trips, including Mexico: The Great Gray Whale Migration and Baja’s Natural Wonders (Program No. 12315RJ). This was a well-balanced lecture on many different kinds of whales. The presenter was very knowledgeable, and I felt like the lecture was a valuable use of time. And it was free! Thank you for a very good experience.

This was an amazing program with a very knowledgeable and interesting host. I thought I knew a lot about whales, but I learned so much from this program. It heightened my desire to see them in person in Antarctica and Svalbard.
