At the top of Holland America’s homepage, click on Manage my Cruise 2. Click on Check In 3. You will see Log In With Booking Number: enter your Booking # , First Name, Last Name then click on the drop down menu & pick a question to answer 4. You are now in your booking confirmation **You must print your own Holland America Luggage Tags, they are required by the ship porters so your bags can make their way safely to your ship cabin.** Once you complete your online registration, you can book drink packages & dining reservations at the alternative restaurants. Please do not book any dining reservations in the main dining room as Road Scholar has booked a group reservation for the duration of the cruise. All Field Trips are also included, so there is no need to book shore excursions.

A passport is required for this program. It must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Meet the group at Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa in Tokyo

Start of Trip:  3:00 p.m. hotel check-in, 6:30 p.m. Orientation followed by Welcome Dinner

Getting to the site: Participants that have arranged their airfare through Road Scholar, and are arriving on the designated arrival date of the program will receive an arrival transfer from Tokyo Haneda airport. Please note, if you did not book your air through Road Scholar, you will NOT be able to join a transfer. PLEASE NOTE: If you book your own flights, we suggest Haneda Airport as Narita Airport travel can take up to 2 hours to reach Tokyo due to distance and heavy traffic. Getting to the site by train or bus: Trains are available to/from the Narita airport.

Your trip ends on: Sunday, October 11, 2026 in Tokyo at MS Westerdam

End of Trip: Disembarkation after breakfast, if departing today, do not schedule any flights out of Haneda airport until late afternoon/evening. The ship is scheduled to arrive at the port of Tokyo at 7:00 a.m.

Getting to the airport: Participants that arranged their airfare through Road Scholar, and are departing on the designated departure date of the program will receive a departure transfer from the port to Tokyo Haneda airport. Please note, if you did not book your air through Road Scholar, you will NOT be able to join a transfer. Taxis are available at the port to the Haneda airport. PLEASE NOTE: If you book your own flights, we suggest Haneda Airport as Narita Airport i further away and will take longer due to distance and heavy traffic.

Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
