At a Glance

As we celebrate Italy, our Campus of the Year, we invite you to rediscover your love of drawing, sprinkled with a little history for good measure. Join architect Mark Keane for a hands-on lecture and learn to sketch Piazza del Campo in Siena — the most beautiful Medieval square in Italy in regard to its architecture, bell tower and urban form. This site holds twice-a-year Medieval horse races around the piazza. In folklore, the city was founded by Senius, son of Remus, one of the mythical founders of Rome.
