The speaker was very good. It was hard for me to listen and watch the parts about humans being cruel to animals.

The Southern Ocean Program by Amanda Hunter was superb. It gave such in-depth information on an historical perspective and the resulting impact on today's world. I thoroughly enjoyed the multi-layered, in-depth presentation by an extremely knowledgeable presenter with lots of visuals to bring the info home.

I have gone on Road Scholar's virtual trips to Antarctica and the Arctic, both of which were fascinating and extremely enjoyable. This lecture added to my interest and knowledge. The title is a little misleading, as the majority of the lecture was about whales and the other marine animals, mostly in the context of hunting.
The presenter was well-prepared, knowledgeable, and interesting.

Amanda Hunter was a compelling speaker, and I learned a lot about history and animal life in Antarctica. It's not easy to keep my attention on my computer screen for an hour without moving, but she helped me do it!
