Online Lecture: Chaco Canyon — Exploring the World of the Ancient Pueblo

Chaco is a fascinating subject. The wisdom of the ancients, the culture that led to the development os the are. The artifacts are gorgeous, showing a REAL knowledge of materials and composition. It is difficult to imagine this place, and I would love to visit!

I thoroughly enjoyed the online lecture on Chaco Canyon. I learned a tremendous amount in the brief hour and a half visit. Visuals were very helpful and the leader's delivery was pleasant and easy to follow. It was a good first Road Scholar "trip" for me, and I look forward to joining some in-person adventures.

If you see this Chaco Canyon program, you will not rest until you have gone there!

I really enjoyed Dr. Robert Weiner's lecture on Chaco Canyon as I've been fascinated by Chaco culture and history since starting my belated back-to-school journey. Chaco has captured my imagination from the very beginning and Dr. Weiner's lecture served to satiate my curiosity and interest. Bravo and job well done sir.

The lecturer skillfully combined his personal research interests and experience with other scholarly research findings to present a rich program bristling with curiosity-piquing issues while answering basic questions about the site.

This lecture took me along a road to the past to learn about the impressive culture of the Chaco people. The photos and maps clarified the extent of the culture and the accomplishments of its citizens.

Chaco Canyon is a hidden gem of history in America; Rob Weiner tells its story so well that it can stay hidden and not be trampled by modern humans.

Rob Weiner brought Chaco Canyon to "life" during his presentation! His knowledge and experience in that region allowed everyone watching the program to learn so much about the evolution of the vast community. I look forward to another wonderful program with Rob.
