I thoroughly enjoyed this presentation. It was well organized, with accompanying slides that made the historical timeline easy to follow and understand. The slides included photographs that made the history come alive. The presenter had lived through much of this history, and his lived personal experience, insights, and interpretation of events, further made for a compelling presentation. Highly recommend!

Five stars. An excellent expose' by Prof. Francis Daehoon Lee, and once again I feel heartbroken at how the USA uses its overweening military power and consuming economic greed, through billion-dollar arms sales deals, to bring nations and regions around the world to the point of utter misery. It was very courageous and admirable of Road Scholar and Prof. Lee to share this eye-opening historical, political, and economic glimpse into the realities of why the Korean Peninsula is divided still. I also felt gob-smacked to learn how the extremely low birth rate in South Korea illustrates how Korean women are on a "birth strike" to protest the oppression of women by the male-dominated ruling body, who in turn are oppressed by the power of the USA.

Very enjoyable and informative. It filled in a lot of gaps in my understanding of the Korean Peninsula.

This was the best Korean experience I have ever had without actually traveling there. I had a fabulous time!
