Join the designer of some of the most popular exhibitions in the world, including the new King Tut experience premiering in Boston, Mass. Mark Lach has shaped the way visitors experience cultural events, from the Titanic to the Vatican’s private museum. Now, Mark is leading the creative team behind the latest National Geographic exhibition, “Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience,” in order to introduce the boy-king’s story to a new audience. In this lecture, Mark will discuss his work on Hamilton, Saturday Night Live, the discovery of King Tut, and more. Through visuals and stories, he’ll inform you about the design and development process that takes you from a gripping story to the most-visited exhibitions in the world. Learn what it takes to bring important cornerstones to people around the world, centering on the 100th anniversary year of the discovery of King Tut’s tomb.
