A very interesting presentation of a critical moment in the history of WWII very well presented by an eloquent and exquisitely prepared historian.

We watched this lecture because it covered an important event in WWII that we wanted to learn more about. Plus Spencer Jones was the lecturer and he is the best!

Spencer Jones again provides well researched and organized discussion of a historical military event.

The historical presentation of "Churchill's Darkest Decision --- Mers-el-Kebir", delivered by Spencer Jones was excellent! The material was detailed, informative, and presented in a fireside-chat manner.

WWII has not been one of my special interests, but Dr. Spencer Jones made the topic fascinating. He not only said what had happened in this incident, and gave background; he conveyed how the various people felt as they made their decisions and acted on them. I went to look at what else he might be presenting, and was pleased to see that I had already signed up for the Adventure Online program where he is one of the presenters. I am looking forward to it!

For the Churchill fan and WWII, its a good program to touch on a subject that is not well known except for the experts. I'm not an expert but I love history and have a good knowledge of it but this subject was not known by me.

Spencer Jones is a wonderful presenter. All his programs should be viewed.

A must for anyone interested in World War II!
