Easter Island, also known as Rapa Nui, is a place always related to mystery and enigma. In this lecture we will look at the history and archaeological work on the biggest monument of the island: Ahu Tongariki. A ceremonial center with 15 massive statues that was swept away by a Tsunami in 1960. An international team of archaeologists works for four years rebuilding this structure and we will learn about the different stages, the difficulties and the success of the work on this platform, through unpublished images and videos.
