If you think you know what Sufism is, you might be surprised by what this lecture reveals. I know I was. Very interesting overview of beliefs and practices.

I highly recommend this talk. The presenter was superb n his deliverance, giving the fundamentals of this religion. Readily giving the breakdown of the divisions of the various branches, their practices, etc. Plus the Q&A portion was even more enlightening as many n the audience had similar questions from which all of us gain further insights into the belief system of Sikhism. Thank u so much!

This presentation is very interesting and taught me a lot about this religious practice. The speaker's energy was very positive.

This is a brief but thorough introduction which would be perfect for someone who knows very little or nothing of Sufism. The presenter uses visual aids as well to help illustrate his points. His presentation is informal and not at all "Lecture at the front of the room" style.

I had taken a course on Islam before and thought that Sufism is the 3rd sect of Islam...I was wrong (Kharijuyya is the 3rd). Sufis are in all 3 sects...more mystical...the inward dimension of Islam. I have toured Turkey several years ago and visited Konya, but this lecture pulled together information that I learned then and since then. Who knew that Sufis have recognized saints (even a woman, Rabia of Basra) and that they recognize St. Francis as a great Sufi)? In synopsis, I learned some things that I did not know, given today's lecture, and I am looking forward to learning more!
