Online Lecture: Three Key Elements of Truly Remarkable Travel Photos

I highly recommend this lecture by Mason Marsh. This isn’t my first lecture or class with him. I can honestly say that my photography skills have improved immensely since I have become a “student of Mason’s”. He is a knowledgeable, approachable, & personable instructor. Mason provides practical ,easy to understand techniques and methods which help everyone succeed in producing better results when taking their photographs. I have learned something new in every single session. Thanks to Mason I have had the opportunity to enrich my love of photography and the components needed for: “visually engaging subject matter that tell a story and provide an emotional connection “ for myself as well as those who view my work. I took this particular online adventure because I had visited Buenos Aires for a few days in 1970. I found it to be a fascinating city and have always wanted to know more about it. I was not disappointed because Dario is a personable and charming host! His lectures are well-organized, handouts are exceptional, and his audio-visuals are well coordinated with his presentation. He wants you to understand his beautiful city and includes all facets of it: history, political upheaval, society and its varied lifestyles, architectural styles, culture, art, music and dance. He includes you as a participant and encourages interaction with him. You will leave his class feelings that he has become a real friend of yours in Buenos Aires.

It was a very informative lecture. It's not a photography class but how to see your environment in a different light.

You can't go wrong with anything Mason Marsh is teaching; he is the reason I became a better photographer! He is a kind person who is compassionate about his art and he is a genuine educator! I always learn something from whatever it is he is teaching!

Inspiring truths about how to make your travel photos more amazing and fun to take as you transition from being a "tourist" to becoming a photo "explorer." Highly recommended.

Mason Marsh reviewed the basics of travel photography. During future travels, I'll be more relaxed and confident about capturing memorable scenes and moments. Take this course if you're unhappy with the result of your photos taken by mobile phone or camera.

Excellent program! Great information with beautiful photo examples of all Mason’s points. Mason is a really great presenter - very knowledgeable, very personable with a great sense of humor and a presentation style that is for me, a novice photographer who travels the world with only my cellphone camera, completely approachable and non- threatening. I could have gladly listened to him all day!

Informative and enjoyable lecture, followed by question/answer period that was very helpful. Touches on, but is not a lecture about f-stops or settings, but about composition, light, emotional aspects, and taking compelling photos, whether street scenes, landscapes, family. A lot covered in an hour and a half.

Anyone interested in taking good photos will gain from this lecture. There was much relevant information given in an interesting and well organized manner.
