If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Meet the group at Hotel Intersur Recoleta in Buenos Aires

Start of Trip:  2:00 p.m. hotel check-in, followed by Orientation and Welcome Dinner.

Getting to the site: All participants who purchased their air travel through Road Scholar Travel Services, and are arriving on the program start date, will have the transfer included from Ezeiza International Airport to the Hotel in Buenos Aires.

Your trip ends on: Friday, March 6, 2026 in Drake Passage at Ocean Victory

End of Trip: At Buenos Aires Airport at arrival from Ushuaia

Getting to the airport: All participants have included the internal air from Ushuaia to Buenos Aires Airport. Participants who purchased their international air travel through Road Scholar Travel Services, and are departing Buenos Aires on the program end date, will be provided with a transfer to International Airport if needed.

Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Participants who have their own flight arrangements or/and are arriving in other dates than the official start of the program can contact: rssouthamericaprograms@roadscholar.org for suggestions for transfers. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
