Garnet Hill Lodge offers a round trip shuttle from Albany International Airport. The shuttle is only available if enrolled in an accommodation level that includes shuttle service (Accommodations 1 or 3). The shuttle will be leaving from the airport to the Lodge at 2:00 PM on the first day of the program. Please plan travel arrangements carefully as it is imperative that you arrive to the airport no later than 1:15 PM for your 2:00 PM pick up. Final departure times from the airport to the lodge will be sent to you prior to your program. The return shuttle on the final day of the program will be based around your flight schedules. Please book return arrangements after 12:00 PM. You will be emailed a link to a Hiking Ability and Transportation Needs form to complete with your flight information. It is very important to fill out this form.

Concord, NH, to Garnet Hill Lodge

From I-93 S, take the exit onto I-89 N toward Lebanon/White River Jct. to enter Vermont. Stay on I-89 N for 56 miles, then take exit 1 for US-4/Woodstock Road toward Rutland/Quechee (South). Turn left onto US-4 W and stay on for 41 miles. Stay to the left for US-4 W/US-7 S/N Main St, then turn right onto US-4 W. Keep left to stay onto US-4 W, then turn left onto US-4 S/Broadway. In 11 miles, turn right onto NY-149 W/Ann St. and continue to follow NY-149 W for 12 miles. Turn left onto US-9 S toward signs for I-87 S/Glens Falls 4, then merge right onto I-87 N. take Exit 23 towards Warrensburg/Diamond Point, then turn left onto Diamond Point Road and turn right onto US 9. In 3.9 miles turn left onto NY 28 S. Continue for 21 miles and then turn left onto Thirteenth Lake Road. In 3.3 miles keep left to stay on Thirteenth Lake Road. In 0.7 miles stay left to keep on Thirteenth Lake Road. In 0.4 miles keep left up the hill, following the signs to Garnet Hill Lodge. In 0.2 miles you will reach Garnet Hill Lodge. From the North: Burlington, VT, to Garnet Hill Lodge

Head south on US-7 S for 12 miles. Then turn right onto VT-22A S, then right onto VT-17 W which turns into NY-185 W after the Lake Champlain Bridge into New York State. Continue onto NY-185 W for 2 miles, then turn left onto Lake Rd. In 2 miles, turn left onto NY-22 S/NY-9N S, then turn right onto Porter Mill Rd, and right onto Creek Rd. From Creek Rd, make a slight left onto Pearl St and continue on as Pearl St turns into Amy Hill Rd. Stay to the left as Amy Hill Rd turns into Creek Rd, then in 3 miles, stay to the left as Creek Rd turns into Corduroy Rd. From Corduroy Rd, turn right onto NY-74 W, then turn left to merge onto I-87 S. Take exit 26 toward Minerva/Pottersvile/NY-9 and turn left onto Stone Bridge Rd. Turn right onto US 9 S., then turn right onto Olmstedville Rd. Continue onto Co. Hwy. 29, then turn left onto Co. Rd. 29. Make a slight left to stay on Co. Rd. 29, then make a slight left onto NY-28N E. In 5 miles, turn right onto NY-28 S. In 4 miles, turn left onto 13th Lake Rd and continue straight onto Garnet Hill Rd Section 2. Garnet Hill Lodge will be on your left. (Approx. 98.2 miles, 2 hours, 25 minutes)

Syracuse, NY, to Garnet Hill Lodge

Take I-690 E for 4 miles, then merge onto I-481 N toward I-90/Thruway for 2 miles. Then take exit 6 to merge onto I-90 E. In 24 miles, take exit 33 for NY-365 toward Verona/Rome. Keep right at the fork and merge onto NY-365 E. Then turn onto the NY-365 E/E Dominick St exit. In 2 miles, turn left onto NY-365 E/New Floyd Rd. and follow for 11 miles. Then turn left onto NY-365 E/Mappa Ave and continue to follow NY-365 E for 15 miles. Turn left onto NY-8 N for 35 miles, then turn left onto NY-30 for 24 miles. Turn right onto NY-28 N, then stay on Thirteenth Lake Road. In 0.7 miles keep left to stay on Thirteenth Lake Road. In 0.4 miles keep left up the hill, following the signs to Garnet Hill Lodge. In 0.2 miles you will reach Garnet Hill Lodge.”

Head north on I-787 N, then take exit 9W to merge onto NY-7 W toward I-87/Schenectady/Saratoga Springs. Take the exit onto I-87 N toward Saratoga Springs/Glens Falls for 54 miles. From I-87 N, take Exit 23 towards Warrensburg/Diamond Point, then turn left onto Diamond Point Road and turn right onto US 9. In 3.9 miles turn left onto NY 28 S.
