United States citizens don’t need a visa for any of the countries you’ll be visiting. Non-U.S. citizens should refer to their country's requirements to ensure they have the necessary documentation for travel.

Health Requirements

While this program’s activity level is Keep the Pace, we spend time at elevations above 5,000 feet. High Altitude may physically impact participation, especially for persons traveling from low elevations. Should you have a history of altitude or respiratory difficulties, serious heart problems, or any medical conditions that might be exacerbated by the stresses of high elevations, please consult with your physician about the physical demands of the program and your participation in it well before departure.

Start of Trip: 3:00 p.m. hotel check-in; 5:00 p.m. Orientation.

Your trip ends on: Saturday, September 25, 2027 in Denver, CO at SpringHill Suites by Marriott Denver Airport

End of Trip: 8:00 a.m. after breakfast; 12:00 p.m. hotel check-out.

Hotel Shuttle

From DEN Airport to SpringHill Suites: Exit baggage claims on the WEST (red) side of the airport find Door 510. Once you exit door 510, go to the 3rd Island that is marked for Hotel Shuttles. The shuttles are black and say “Springhill/Fairfield”. The shuttles pick up every half hour at the .15 and .45 of every hour except when they take breaks at 9:45am and then again at 7:45pm (1:15, 1:45; 2:15, 2:45; 3:15, 3:45 etc.) The last shuttle from the airport is at 11:45 p.m. There is no shuttle again until 3:30 a.m. From the Hotel to the Airport: RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED 24 hours prior to when needed. Shuttles hold 7 passengers. To make a shuttle reservation to the airport, sign up when you check in on the first day. From 3:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. the shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Except when they take breaks at 9:30am and 7:30pm.

Uber and Lyft are also available options. Another option available but not necessarily recommended is public light rail offered by RTD. Line A goes from Union Station to Denver International Airport, Once at the airport, hotel shuttle can be used but shuttle needs to be called from the airport for pickup. This option involves lots of walking while managing luggage.

From junction of I-25 N&S and I-70 E&W, Take I-70 East 21 miles to Pena Blvd. exiting North. Take Pena Blvd. Approx. 2 miles to Tower Rd. Exit South. Continue south on Tower Rd. Drive approx. 1/4 mile to E 68th Ave, turn right on to E 68th Ave, then SpringHill Suites by Marriott Denver Airport, 6851 Tower Rd, Denver, CO 80249 is straight ahead on the left. Parking: extended parking fees will be waived for the Road Scholar groups. When participants arrive at the hotel, advise the front desk at check-in that they are part of Road Scholar Group and will be parking and they will then be advised where to park without fee.
