At a Glance

Embark from Argentina to explore the Antarctic Peninsula and its South American neighbors, as you learn about the history of this region and search for the wildlife that thrive in this frozen wonderland. Look up towards the night sky as a million stars twinkle above this remote landscape while seals rest on shore. During the day, expert naturalists share their knowledge as whales breach and penguins play among the ice caps, unafraid of the humans exploring their land.
Activity Level
Let's Go!
Walking up to two miles over the course of a day; some uneven and hilly terrain. Mobility is essential, as small boats are sometimes used for getting on and off the ship at some ports.

Best of all, you'll ...

  • Venture through the Falkland Islands’ incredible landscapes as you revel in the opportunities to hike the coastal cliffs and kayak in the cool waters.
  • Hike and sail by the alpine mountains and mighty glaciers of Antarctica in search of unique wildlife including penguins and whales.
  • Explore Montevideo — the Southernmost capital city in the Americas — and enjoy a special lunch and look at the antiques housed at the Primuseum.

General Notes
