Nestled in coniferous forest with pockets of open meadows, the ranch is situated along the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River in northwest Wyoming's Shoshone National Forest. Truly isolated and guaranteed to be peaceful and quiet, the ranch is located 55 miles southwest of Red Lodge, MT across a National Scenic Byway traversing 10,947' Beartooth Pass; 60 miles northwest of Cody, WY via historic Chief Joseph Scenic Highway and 8,060' Dead Indian Pass; and 23 miles east of Yellowstone National Park's NE entrance at Cooke City, MT. This historic, Wyoming guest ranch had its beginnings as a homestead in 1909 and for the past 70 years has been in the same family. The ranch served hunters and guests for many years with the focus now on guests. With the flexibility and variety of lodgings to meet any needs, and a healthy and nutritious menu that changes daily, the ranch is popular with hikers, fishermen, bikers and travelers exploring the Beartooth and Absaroka Mountains and Yellowstone National Park - as well as being the perfect location for special events such as reunions and weddings.
