With a retired military personal, we will discover Naval Aviation’s rich history and see more than 150 beautifully restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Aviation. At the end of our visit, we will have a chance to explore on our own. This area of Florida is usually cooler than others, layers are always suggested!
At the museum restaurant, order from a select menu including soups, salads, and sandwiches, plus water or soda.
Next, we will visit the historic Pensacola Lighthouse and Museum. For those feeling adventurous, climb to the top of the lighthouse offering a spectacular view of Pensacola Bay meeting the Gulf of Mexico. From the Lighthouse and Museum, we'll board the motor coach and take a short drive to Fort Barrancas, situated at the top of the hill. We will explore one of the four forts built to protect the Pensacola Navy Yard. For participants who do not wish to walk uphill, you may explore the visitor’s center and watch a video on the fort.
