Whitewater Rafting on the Owyhee River: Oregon's Grand Canyon
After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.
Oregon River Experiences LLC, the program provider, is required by its insurance carrier to obtain signed liability release waivers from all participants. All participants must sign a waiver in order to participate in the program. That waiver will be included in the preparatory material participants will receive after enrolling in the program, and it must be returned prior to the program's commencement.
United States citizens don’t need a visa for any of the countries you’ll be visiting. Non-U.S. citizens should refer to their country's requirements to ensure they have the necessary documentation for travel.

Public transportation is not available. Participants must drive from home to our meeting place in Jordan Valley, Oregon or fly to Boise, Idaho and then drive to Jordan Valley. We assist in coordinating ride sharing for those interested in this option. Contact O.R.E. directly at 503-563-1500.

We will meet at 3:30 p.m. Mountain Time at the Basque Station Motel in the town of Jordan Valley, Oregon. Look for us in the Motel parking lot. The Basque, which is currently the only motel in town, is on the main road and is easy to find. Jordan Valley is 43 miles east of Burns Junction, approximately 425 miles southeast of Portland, Oregon, and 85 miles southwest of Boise, Idaho. From Idaho, follow US-95 south from its junction with Interstate 84, then on to Jordan Valley. From California or Central Oregon, take US-20 east from Bend to Burns. Turn onto OR-78 and follow it to US-95 at Burns Junction. Then take US-95 north to Jordan Valley.
