Great American Get-Together in Banff

After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.

A passport is required for this program. It must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Meet the group at Best Western Plus Port O'Call Calgary Airport Hotel in Calgary, Alberta

Start of Trip:  3:00 p.m. hotel check-in; 4:00-6:00 p.m. Program Registration; 6:00 p.m. Welcome Dinner; 7:30 p.m. Orientation.

Getting to the site: This program includes a complimentary shuttle, available from the Calgary International Airport (YYC) to the arrival hotel, the Best Western Port O' Call, for all participants. Please call the hotel from the airport for pickup informing them that you are traveling with Road Scholar. The hotel staff will advise when the next shuttle will be at the airport and will let you know where to go to meet the shuttle. Phone: 403-291-4600.

Your trip ends on: Sunday, August 2, 2026 in Banff, Alberta at The Banff Centre

End of Trip: After breakfast followed by transfer to Calgary International Airport; 11:00 a.m. hotel check-out.

Getting to the airport: A group transfer from the hotel in Banff to Calgary International Airport (YYC) will be available on the final day. This group transfer will depart Banff at 8:30 a.m.; approximate arrival at Calgary Airport is 10:30 a.m. This transfer is available to ALL enrolled participants at no extra charge. No reservations are required. Your registration in the program guarantees your seat on the group transfer. The transfer is only available on the scheduled end date.
