Considerable walking at the St. Louis Science Center.
In the hotel breakfast room, choose what you like from the buffet with beverage choices of milk, juice, coffee, tea, water.
We will board our bus for a trip to the St. Louis Science Center, one of the top four science centers in the nation. In a classroom setting we will fill an entire area with a functioning Rube Goldberg machine. Our goal is to work together as a group to create a machine using dominoes, ramps, buckets and levers in order to flip on a switch. After program is complete, there will be time to explore the Science Center on their own (with Grandparents).
Today we will lunch at a local establishment and after lunch, we will stop by a true St. Louis icon for a special treat. (Grandparents, this St. Louis landmark is located on historic Route 66)!
From there, we will take a short ride to the James S. McDonnell Planetarium, one of the nation's leading space education facilities. There will be time to explore the planetarium's space exhibits and see an educational Mars-centric show, learn how to locate the planet in the sky and observe what the sky would look like from the Martian surface in its unique dome-shaped auditorium. When we're done, we will board the bus and go to dinner.
At a local restaurant we’ll order plated meals from a select menu with beverage choices of soft drinks, coffee, tea, milk and water included; other beverages available for purchase.
Return to Hotel and meet in the breakfast area at 7:00 p.m. for a challenging activity. When finished meet with your friends at the pool (a grandparent would need to be present) or take a relaxing break.
