Living and Learning in Sevilla: Independent Stay and Language Study

After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.

In particular for this Living and Learning program, we urge you to complete and submit your online Participant Information Form as soon as possible.

A passport is required for this program. It must be valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Meet the group at Holiday Rentals Los Salados in Seville

Start of Trip:  2:00 p.m. apartment check-in; late afternoon Orientation followed by Welcome Dinner.

Getting to the site: An arrival transfer is organized for all participants who purchased airfare through Road Scholar and arrive on the group arrival date. Program Only Participants (POPs) or participants who are arriving early must make their own way to the accommodation at their own cost. A taxi directly from Seville airport to the apartment accommodation will cost approximately 30 Euros, and takes around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Please ensure you take an official city cab from the taxi rank outside of the arrivals terminal. Do not accept cabs from any unoffical cab company who may greet passengers on arrival at the airport.

Getting to the site by train or bus: A bus service is available from the airport to the city center (Plaza de Armas). The journey takes about 35 minutes.

Getting to the airport: A departure transfer is organized for all participants who purchased airfare through Road Scholar and depart on the group departure date. Program Only Participants (POPs) or participants departing on a later date should be prepared to make their own arrangement at their own cost. Please reach out to your Group Leader and/or apartmen staff during your program to make the necessary reservations. A taxi directly to Seville airport from the apartment accommodation will cost approximately 30 Euros, and takes 30 minutes depending on traffic.

Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: Participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program, as well as from the last site at the end of the program. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details needed to make your transfer arrangements. If you wish to purchase airfare through Road Scholar, please call (800) 241-1404. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
