If Road Scholar is arranging your air travel to and from the program, and you travel on the scheduled start and end dates, you’ll receive free round-trip transfers from the airport to the hotel.

Meet the group at Hilton Garden Inn Halifax Airport in Halifax, NS

Start of Trip:  3:00 p.m. hotel check-in; 5:00 p.m. Program Registration; 6:30 p.m. Welcome Dinner; 7:30 p.m. Orientation.

Getting to the site: This program includes complimentary, round-trip airport transfers for all participants, to get you to and from your program. The transfer between the Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) and arrival hotel is via the Hilton Garden Inn Shuttle. The shuttle offers complimentary service between the airport and hotel for all guests. The shuttle service runs 24 hours a day on a 30 minute automatic schedule. No reservation is required. Pickup at The Halifax International Airport at 10 and 40 minutes after the hour (ex. 2:10, 2:40, 3:10, 3:40). 1. When leaving the arrivals area of the Airport. Head out the doors and turn right. 2. Head down the sidewalk towards the corner. 3. Just before the corner there will be a sign that says “Airport Busses” 4. Wait there. Please note, The Hilton Garden Inn Halifax Airport and the Holiday Inn Express Halifax Airport share shuttle service. The sign on the side of the shuttle could be for either hotel or for both. This transfer is available to ALL enrolled participants at no extra charge. No reservations are required. Your registration in the program guarantees your seat on the group transfer. The transfer is only available on the scheduled start/end date. The Information Packet Road Scholar sends in advance of the program includes details about the transfers. Please Note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program's arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
