Please keep in mind that the workshop schedule is tentative and subject to change due to weather, access, seasons, and other factors. When you arrive you will receive an updated schedule specially tailored for that particular week.
Breakfast will be a tailgate breakfast in the field. (Coffee, orange juice, Danishes, bananas, yogurt, bagels, croissants, hard boiled eggs, cream cheese, etc.)
Spend a morning along the refuge’s Woodland Trail photographing forest scenes, close-ups and maybe some Delmarva fox squirrels.
Lunch will be in the Chincoteague Bay Field Station dining hall
This is a free afternoon to visit some of the local sites, explore the town of Chincoteague, walk the trails of the Wildlife Refuge, do some birding on your own, fish, shop, or just relax on our pristine beach!
Dinner will be served in the Chincoteague Bay Field Station dining hall. Our dining staff will prepare and serve your meal cafeteria style, with options ranging from a hot meal to a diverse salad bar.
Meet for a classroom lecture session. Sessions offered during the course cover a range of topics. Classroom sessions will explore the practical and theoretical aspects of image creation. Student will also be able to review images and receive instructor critique. In these sessions, you can expect to learn many techniques and tips from a top professional in the industry.
