The Best of Glacier National Park
After you enroll, we’ll ask you to provide or update your personal information and preferences, which includes your health information, lodging and meal preferences for your program.
To join your Road Scholar program, which begins in Glacier National Park, you are REQUIRED to have a National Park Pass. You may have an America the Beautiful Pass OR a Glacier National Park Pass Passes may be purchased at the entrance of the park or online at: https://store.usgs.gov/pass Montana Raft Company and Glacier Guides, Inc., the entity providing the rafting experience during this program, is required by its insurance carrier to obtain a signed liability release waiver from all program participants. Participants must sign the Montana Raft Company’s liability waiver before participating in the rafting activity. This waiver will be included in the preparatory materials that participants receive upon enrollment in the program and must be returned before the program’s commencement.
United States citizens don’t need a visa for any of the countries you’ll be visiting. Non-U.S. citizens should refer to their country's requirements to ensure they have the necessary documentation for travel.

Please note that there is no cell service or internet service available inside Glacier National Park so you must pre-schedule your return trip prior to your arrival.

Kalispell
From Kalispell travel east on US Hwy 2 through Columbia Falls and Hungry Horse. In West Glacier, turn left toward Glacier National Park. After passing through the park entrance, take a right at the first stop sign onto Going-to-the-Sun Road. Drive approximately 8 miles along the shoreline of Lake McDonald. Follow the signs to Lake McDonald Lodge and Motel Lake McDonald (300 yards from Lake McDonald Lodge).
