Dinner: Dinner in the main dining room at Boone Tavern Hotel and Restaurant.
Activity note: Participants will have hands on experience making a two crafts.
Breakfast: Buffet Breakfast at Boone Tavern Restaurant
Morning: Bus ride to Old Town Craft Village for craft making.You will be split into two groups. One group will be doing a Blown Glass Ornament while the other makes a Round Tree Broom.
Lunch: Lunch served at Boone Tavern Restaurant, bus trip back to Old Town for afternoon craft making.
Afternoon: After lunch we head back to craft making. The groups will switch places and make a second craft. Those who made brooms will make the blown glass ornament and those who made the blown glass ornament will make a broom.
Dinner: Dinner at Boone Tavern Restaurant.
Evening: Travel by bus (1 hour) to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington for Southern Lights Festival of Lights and the indoor attractions to include model train display, museum of the horse, petting zoo, craft displays, shopping and refreshments.
Activity note: Participants will each make a basket to take home with them.
Breakfast: Buffet breakfast at Boone Tavern Restaurant.
Morning: Walk across the street to the Alumni Building on the campus of Berea College for a group craft; Basket Making.
Lunch: Buffet Lunch served at Boone Tavern Restaurant.
Afternoon: After lunch, free time to explore the local shops and crafts galleries at Old Town Craft Village and College Square and perhaps get Holiday shopping done.
Dinner: Dinner served in the Boone Tavern Restaurant.
Evening: Christmas Musical Performance by Al, Alice and Ruth accompanied by the Berea College Bluegrass Music Ensemble.
Activity note: Berea College Campus Tour
Breakfast: Buffet Breakfast
Morning: Participants are offered an optional Berea College Campus Tour to learn more about the college and our wonderful mission. The tour is about an hour long walking tour.
Lunch: Lunch served in the Boone Tavern Restaurant followed by departure at leisure.
