Meet the group at Hotel Goldener Loewe in Silandro
Start of Trip: 2:30 p.m. Day 2 transfer from Innsbruck Airport to Silandro; 5:00 p.m. hotel check-in; 7:00 p.m. Welcome Dinner.
Getting to the site: If you cannot make the 2:30 p.m. meeting time, please reference the following instructions for traveling from the airport to the hotel, allow at least 4-5 hours of travel time:
1) Take public bus "F" from Innsbruck Airport to the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof. Travel time is about 20 minutes and fare will cost approximately €2.
2) From the Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof, board a train heading for the Landeck-Zams Bahnhof. Travel time is about 50 minutes.
3) From the Landeck-Zams Bahnhof, board bus 273 heading to Mals Bahnhof. Disembark at the Mals Bahnhof bus stop. Travel time is about 90 minutes.
4) Upon arrival in Mals Bahnhof, board bus 250 heading towards Merano. Disembark at Silandro. The hotel is .5 miles from the bus stop. Travel time is about 25 minutes and combined fare for train and bus will cost approximately €16.

If you are departing the U.S. prior to the group departure and plan to connect with the group at the airport on the day the program commences, be sure to be at the meeting point at the time indicated. Getting to the site by train or bus: Train, bus and taxi available.
Your trip ends on: Wednesday, September 23, 2026 in Peschiera del Garda at The Ziba Hotel & Spa
End of Trip: 10:00 a.m. after breakfast; 11:00 a.m. hotel check-out.
Getting to the airport: 1) Take a taxi from your hotel to the Verona airport. 8 miles. 30 minutes. Approx. €50
2) Take a short taxi ride (2 miles) to the Verona Peschiera del Garda train station. Take the regional train RE6 to Verona Porta Nuova (about 20 minutes). Walk 2 minutes to the Verona Stazione station and take bus 199 to the Catullo Verona Airport (about 15 minutes).
Information if you are purchasing your own airfare: As an exception on this program, Independent Travelers are welcome to utilize the group transfers at the beginning of the program if you rendezvous at the designated time and place for the group transfer. However, if you are not present at the time indicated, we will assume you are transferring on your own and are responsible for making your own arrangements and for all costs involved. At the end of the program, all Independent Travelers will be assisted by the Group Leaders, but costs are incurred by the participant.
According to Road Scholar policy participants who have not purchased airfare through Road Scholar are responsible for making their own transfer arrangements to the first site at the beginning of the program as well as from the last site at the end of the program. Please note: In the unlikely event Road Scholar must make changes to the program’s arrival or departure details, we will notify all participants as soon as possible. Participants who have purchased Road Scholar airfare are protected against airline change fees; however, anyone who has not purchased Road Scholar airfare will be required to make their own adjustments and may incur fees imposed by the airline.
