This trip was a very fun adventure with our daughter and 10 year old granddaughter. They loved it all. Road Scholar did their usual excellent job of organizing all the events and meals and the Crowne Plaza Hotel was very nice. The only drawback to the family programs is they are in the summer so students can go, but the weather can be a problem as well as the tourist crowds, which were heavy on this trip. Also, using the Metro for most travel is physically very demanding on top of walking inside the museums and international airports. We walked 3-6 miles every day and there are many stairs. Overall it is a comprehensive introduction to Paris and a good family experience.

The absolute best way to travel with my 13 year old granddaughter. We each made new friends and had a wonderful time - with no arguing about who wanted to do what!

Amazing experience!! I cannot believe how much we saw and learned in such a short time. Caroline and Martin were the most amazing people we could have ever had leading our magical experience.

Absolutely loved our Roadscholar trip! This trip was well worth the investment...for a busy family, having Roadscholar do all the planning and then flawlessly execute...couldn't ask for anything better. We so enjoyed being able to introduce our three teenagers to Paris on a trip with other like-minded families. All our guides were entertaining and educational and we learned so much. We look forward to scheduling our next trip soon.

This was a truly wonderful trip. Road Scholar kept us busy every day, each with its own delights. We spent time in the city: The Louvre, Notre Dame, Montmartre, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower (on our own), Seine daylight cruise, a participatory visit to a chocolate factory and so much more. We also spent two days in the country first to see mini-Versailles (Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte) then a particularly friendly local meal hosted by Frederic's French family on their country farm. Another country trip was to Monet's House and Gardens. It seemed like we crammed a month's worth of visits into only a week. Emmanuel Sarnin was a magnificent guide and Gislaine was also a wonderful shepherd who kept us from getting lost. Caroline was an especially good museum guide with humorous background stories that bring the art alive. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Kudos to Emmanuel, Gislaine and Caroline!!!

Fast-paced, this tour provided an excellent overview of Paris, French culture, cuisine, art, history and more. By metro, buses, train, boat, and on feet, the group saw many of the sites that make Paris a worldwide destination. The tour offered an excellent introduction for children and grandparents.

This was a great trip. Very active. My grandaughter and I especially enjoyed Monet's gardens and house. I loved d'Orsey. We had just enough time to ourselves and with the group. The trip was well planned and I love being able to count on Road Scholar picking us up and dropping us off at the airport. Always a nightmare when you don't speak the native language.
The food was outstanding. Our team leader Renee Jean, and guide Aurora were excellent. Both very knowledgable with delightfull personalities. I was a little disappointed in the Best Western Hotel. The staff was great and the breakfast good; however, the rooms were outdated, musty and small. The linen was fresh but the carpets needed to be replaced or at least cleaned.
Would highly recommend this trip and these wonderful guides.
