Pedro Vazquez was born in Havana, Cuba, where he continues to live. He started studies at Havana University where he got a degree in Architecture and has been devoted to habitat, housing and urban issues ever since. After 46 years of professional practice in Urbanism, as a designer and manager, he is now a well-known member of Cuba’s National Experts Committee for construction and habitat-related topics. Married to Mayda Perez, also a Cuban architect, they have two daughters and a granddaughter.
