At a Glance

Explore, play and learn together with your grandchild as you tackle outdoor challenges while enjoying the beauty of Northern Michigan. Canoe, kayak, try a low ropes course, bicycle, geocache, learn to read a map and compass, try your hand at archery, disc golf and more. Field trips have us hiking to one of the most picturesque lighthouses on Lake Michigan, and biking in the White Pine Trail State Park.

Walking up to two miles on rolling terrain. Paddling canoe up to two hours, leisurely pace. Bicycling up to two hours, flat terrain.

Love to learn and explore in a small-group setting? These adventures offer small, personal experiences with groups of 10 to 24 participants.

  • Learn canoeing skills with a certified lifeguard and instructor, then test your skills with our canoe course on beautiful Center Lake.

General Notes

Program is for grandchildren ages 11-14. All equipment provided, but personal fishing equipment welcome.
