I loved my experience at the White Stallion Ranch with my granddaughter. This is a quality operation. The ranch personnel do an excellent job of matching the horse with the rider. My granddaughter was able to really advance her riding skills with able instruction and supervision of the ranch staff, and I was able to enjoy quieter rides that I craved. I will never forget my granddaughter's joy during this week.

Our trip to the White Stallion Ranch in Tucson, Arizona was everything we had hoped for. The staff did an great job matching up participants and horses for the week. There were activities for varying abilities. The speakers had impressive credentials and programs were well worth attending. The ranch is beautiful. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and attended. Everyone takes pride in the ranch and their work, and it shows. They go out of their way to ensure that everyone has a good time. The meals feature local cuisine and the buffets have a variety to meet all tastes. I felt cared for and cared about the whole time. I highly recommend.

Our experience at White Stallion was wonderful. The combination of riding, lectures, and western entertainment created a perfect week. The housing accommodations and outdoor environment were outstanding and the staff was above and beyond helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this program to both experienced riders and city slickers, like my family.

I just returned from this trip with my 2 grandchildren. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. The White Stallion Ranch is a very special place. The rooms are lovely and conveniently located. The food was healthy and delicious. The riding experience was well supervised and safe. Extra riding classes for $20 per session were nice for added confidence. My husband and grandkids went on a fast ride the final day, but first they took a class. Carol, the leader, was knowledgeable and patient. I just can't explain how good it was to be there with all of the activities already paid for through Road Scholar. For example, the daily rides would have been $44.00 per rider. My grandkids loved the pool! The only drawback was the heat during the day. I had no idea June was the hottest month in Tucson. At least 106 degrees during the day. I think the trips in July and August would be more comfortable, it rains then.

Our White Horse Stallion Ranch experience was delightful despite the extreme heat. It was unusually hot and yet we still rode, roped, learned, did road trips, and swam. Inside crafts and other inside opportunities were scheduled during the afternoon. The evening entertainment was AMAZING! Great place!!

This was a great experience for my grandson and myself. White Stallion Ranch was a wonderful, comfortable facility and the staff was very helpful any time they were needed. Horse rides were fun and the desert was spectacular. My grandson experienced adventures he never would have at home.He learned to ride horses, shoot arrows and guns, rock climb and line dance. We especially enjoyed the desert survival class and the roping cowboy. The food was very good and the road scholar leader was very helpful. Overall a great adventure for both of us. I do wish there had been a little more horse riding instruction before we took a ride. My grandson had never been on a horse before. We did get help from the staff but could have used a little more. Over all wonderful time. The pool was good too.

The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. The variety of activities was great! We were busy every day, but you could opt to be less busy. It is a bit different than most programs in that you are not in a cohesive group for all activities. They had many Road Scholar only activities, but you also could sign up for activities based on your level of skill , interest, and physical ability.
The heat could be a problem for some people…we did fine and quickly adapted.Pool time was great.

GIDDY UP! This is a rootin' tootin' adventure at a very posh Arizona desert ranch. If you want to experience horse riding in a calm and supportive environment, this is it. Novice or experienced equestrians will be accommodated! The food is top notch, and the activities are great, too!
