Henrique Ozur Bass
Henrique Ozur Bass has served as hazzan at Congregation Har Shalom since 1996. Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, he led High Holiday until graduating college with a degree in telecommunications engineering. After working for two years, he enrolled at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City to fulfill his dream of becoming a hazzan. It was here that he met his wife, Rabbi Janet Ozur Bazz. At Har Shalom, he has been encouraged to participate in professional growth and community involvement.
