Easy Going
Minimal walking and standing.

Best of all, you'll ...

  • Enjoy daily chamber music performances and attend two major concerts with the festival orchestra featuring compositions from a variety of composers including Bach.
  • Attend the Leipzig Service combining the choral, orchestral and organ music of Bach's cantata and other music with a liturgy and homily that are carefully coordinated with the music.
  • Slip into a rehearsal to watch the conductor at work, learn how musicians shape the music and feel the intimacy of a baroque recital.

General Notes

Please note, while the festival is called the Bach Festival, Bach is only one of many composers featured. Please be prepared for a variety of composers in addition to Bach. Participants will attend about half of the week-long festival's events. The festival schedule becomes available online early in the calendar year.
