Join us for an exclusive, Road Scholar-only week of creativity at Snow Farm: The New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, Mass.! How can you reuse ceramics or glass pieces to create exciting new works of art? Find out as an expert artisan shares the secrets to working with ceramic tile, glass and pottery to create beautiful mosaics. Working in the indirect method, make mosaics for wall display, coasters, or other functional projects. Learn the principles of cutting, design and patterns, as well as how to combine colors, textures and a variety of materials. Several projects can be completed during this class, and you’ll learn how you can set up your own mosaics studio at home to continue creating and pursue your own ideas. We’ll cap off the week with a student art show and wine-and-cheese reception!
