The motel is located in Cow Head (small fishing village) within Gros Morne National Park - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's the closest 2.5 star motel to Western Brook Pond in Gros Morne National Park. The motel hosts the Gros Morne Theatre Festival (June through to September). Stay overnight in one the restored buildings and experience the ambience of a life-style long past surrounding by period furnishings and fixtures. The Battle Harbour Inn: Once providing accommodation for the resident merchant and agents, this charming island haven is fully restored and renovated and cozily furnished with antiques. The glassed-in porch is a wonderful spot to sit and view sunsets and is the perfect vantage point for relaxing and taking in the beauty of the island and its setting. (2 rooms with 2 twin beds, 1 room with queen bed and 1 room with double bed - all with private washrooms). The Merchant Building: Another part of the history of our Island were the merchants and their clerks. These people made sure the Battle Harbour brand went far and wide. This building is steps away from the center of all our activities and features four rooms on each level with a cozy beverage station on the main floor. Plenty of windows in each room ensure incredible vistas are not missed. (3 rooms with king beds, 2 rooms with queen beds, 1 room with 2 double beds, 1 room with double bed, all have private washrooms). The Grenfell Cottage: This cottage is equipped with a full kitchen, breakfast nook, dining room, parlor, and three piece bathroom with a claw-foot tub. The sun porch and veranda offer an ideal spot to gaze at the magnificent ocean view. (2 rooms with king beds, 2 rooms with 1 double bed & 1 twin bed in each, 2 shared washrooms). The Spearing Cottage: Once located on Double Island it was used as the lightkeeper's home. Fully equipped kitchen, sitting room and a bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. (2 rooms, 1 with queen bed & 1 with 2 twin beds, 1 shared washroom). Constable Forward Cottage: Named after the first RCMP constable at Battle Harbour, this cozy cabin has a wood stove, sitting area. The bathroom features a tiled shower (private cottage with washroom and queen bed).
